With the new update, a representative for XSeed said the Amagaeshi Shrine gets an extra 200 floors added to the tower.
Initially, once the Amagaeshi Shrine became available halfway through the game, it offered 100 floors of foes for Sakuna to clear out. These are divided into sets of 10, with enemies getting progressively stronger — especially at night.
The new floors offer an expanded challenge players can tackle with their best gear and, hopefully, their best rice enhancements to help Sakuna power through the demonic hordes.
The graphics updates boost visuals in a few of the areas outside the home base and add in missing voice files.
We loved our time with Sakuna: Of Rice and Ruin, praising its unique approach to the farm-sim genre. And we weren’t alone in liking it. The game performed so well in Japan that Marvelous had to temporarily cap its stock price to keep up with demand.
